Catheters/Urology

There are any different types of catheters including internal and external. External Catheters called condom catheters are a very simple way of managing incontinence in men. In this method the catheter is attached to the penis exactly like a condom. This is then attached to a leg bag or bedside bag to collect the urine. To manage the symptoms of urinary incontinence internal catheterization techniques are also used. Internal catheterization techniques involve introducing a narrow tube through the urethra into the bladder to withdraw urine.
