Convatec offers a wide range of one-piece pouches to meet the different needs of our customers. These systems vary in terms of the materials that compose the skin barrier, shape of the barrier, pouch size, shape and features. These one-piece products are very flexible, have a low profile and are easy to use. The One-Piece Closed-End Pouch was developed for people with colostomies who prefer a one-piece management system. The pouch is designed for one-time use and is discarded once it is filled. The skin barrier provides excellent skin protection and minimizes irritation, even when changed frequently. This product has a built-in filter to permit the elimination of gas without odor. Smaller sized pouches were designed for customers of a smaller stature or for those desiring a smaller pouch for active or intimate moments. The One-Piece Drainable Pouch with total hydrocolloid skin barrier was designed for ileostomy patients who prefer a one-piece drainable pouch. This skin barrier provides optimal skin protection and minimizes irritation, even when changed frequently.
